The story behind DADA
Some businesses start with a person
Not every business starts with a product. Some start with a person.
DADA was inspired by my father, the man everyone called "Dada."
He wasn't famous. He wasn't wealthy. But he was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. He could fix almost anything, tell the best stories, and somehow make every room a little brighter with his laugh.
Growing up, I spent countless hours by his side. He taught me how to change a tire at a very young age, but the greatest lessons he gave me had nothing to do with cars. He taught me how to laugh, find joy even in difficult moments, and keep pushing forward when life gets hard.
After losing him, I realized those lessons had become part of who I am. They shaped the way I work, the way I treat people, and the kind of business I wanted to build.
Those values became the foundation of DADA.
Every hat, shirt, sweatshirt, and custom order we create is built with the same pride, integrity, and care that he showed in everything he did.
DADA isn't just a logo.
It's a tribute to the man who taught me that the things we build, and the way we build them, can become a lasting legacy. It's a reminder that the people who shape us never truly leave us. Their influence lives on in every decision we make, every relationship we build, and everything we create.
